More About Garland:

PERSONAL: Garland enjoys salsa dancing, capoeira, and traveling with her family to discover all the wonderful world cultures, foods, and languages. She lives in Los Angeles with her 10 year-old daughter and partner. When not enjoying the sunshine, she can be found reading books, watching movies, and listening to podcasts.

BELIEFS:  I believe our differences are our superpowers. Once we own our strengths and accept the strengths of others, we can begin to impact the world in a more positive way.

HOPE FOR THE FUTURE:  My hope is that we (humanity) continue to challenge ourselves to not just do better, but be better people. Use our voices to educate, empathize, and share to help ourselves, each other, and the world
